The state of emergency has been extended a third time, now until 31st May 2020. This has also extended the restrictions on visitors to residential aged care homes. The government have suggested that there may be cautious easing of restrictions after this date and we will advise if there are any changes.
The Deputy Chief Health Officer has announced the updated Care Facilities Directions (No.3) which states that during this next stage:
All other restrictions remain in place, a visitor must not enter or remain on the premises of a Facility between midnight on 11 May and midnight on 31 May 2020 if:
