Dear Families and friends of Embracia,
Immediate changes to visitation from today as directed by DHHS
It is not the way we wanted to start 2021, however, it is important that we implement the new directives sent to us by DHHS in relation to visitation to all Aged Care homes. From today at both Embracia Reservoir and Embracia Moonee Valley, we will revert back to 1 person visiting, once a day and for a maximum of 2 hours. Residents receiving end of life care are excluded from these rules and we encourage you to have regular conversations with our management teams regarding your visiting rights. We apologise for any inconvenience, but we must put our resident’s safety first.
As of immediate, the following rules are in place:
We want to again remind people who have visited NSW or any of the listed areas in Melbourne on DHHS website to please NOT visit either Embracia Reservoir or Embracia Moonee Valley. We need your support to keep our residents and staff safe and to ensure we do not face any more lockdowns. Staying away helps keep our people safe, so please play your part.
If you have any questions, please email Catrina at Reservoir catrinab@embraciavic.com.au and Joy at Moonee Valley joym@embraciavic.com.au
Happy new year from the Embracia family and we thank you for working with us to keep us all safe.
Kind regards,
Sarah MacKenzie
