Dear Residents and Families,
Re: Embracia Victoria – Queensland – Greater Brisbane declared a Red Zone
The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services have issued a statement today declaring that Greater Brisbane will be designated a red zone under Victoria’s travel permit system from 6.00pm.
This means that anyone who has entered Victoria from Greater Brisbane must immediately self-quarantine, get a coronavirus test and remain isolated for 14 days from the day you entered Victoria.
Queensland Government has provided a list of public exposure sites on their government website. People currently in Victoria who were at any of these high-risk locations in the specified times are required to be tested and immediately isolate for 14 days and contact DHHS at 1300 651 160.
Please do not visit our home if you have visited these areas.
All other visitation requirements remain in place which include screening, wearing masks, social distancing and using hand sanitiser.
We hope that this current outbreak in Queensland will be under control and have minimal impact on Victorians. Thank you for your continued understanding and vigilance.
