RE: Embracia Reservoir – Still only a single COVID positive case
We are writing to update you and as we expected, our pathology results have been affected by the major publicised delays. We are pleased to inform you that we have a full round of resident results back and it is still only the one resident that we reported on Christmas Day as our positive case, and they have been isolating. We have almost all staff tests back from our first round and all so far are negative, but there are still a few pending, none however, work in the Love household, so that is promising.
We have conducted another full round of PCR tests yesterday and we are awaiting these results. We met with the Commonwealth and State authorities yesterday, and we’ve been told the following:
We hope with overnight changes to travel requirements for some states, that pathology results will start to come back faster for homes like us who need rapid turnaround times.
We thank you all for your patience during this challenging time. We wish to thank all our wonderful staff and management team who have worked extra hard in a difficult situation. We are truly thankful to have such a vigilant and committed team.
We will endeavour to keep you informed with results, as they become available. Please, if you have any symptoms or have been near anyone who has recently tested positive, please stay away from our home until you are clear.
