Dear Residents and Families,
Re: Embracia Reservoir – changes in conditions for visits and outings
We would like to update you on the recent changes in the restrictions for visitors and residents going out on outings from the home. As you know these restrictions have been evolving and they will continue to as the COVID situation progresses. We will keep you informed of these changes.
Visitors
We do have some welcomed changes, however the usual screening, temperature checks and wearing face masks when visiting remains in place. We still encourage everyone to be vaccinated against influenza if you would like to visit.
The new conditions:
Outings
Residents may take outings as long the current Victorian Government restrictions are observed such as social distancing, wearing masks and within the restrictions on gatherings. We also ask that you provide us with information on where residents are going, who will be with them and the contact information. This will assist in any contact tracing if it is required. We still encourage that everyone practices good hand hygiene and using hand sanitiser. Residents will not be required to isolate when they return from their outings.
We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience, but things are improving, slowly.
Kind regards,
Sarah MacKenzie
