Embracia Moonee Valley – Reopened

November 8, 2021

Dear Residents and Families,

RE: Embracia Moonee Valley – Reopened

We are pleased to be able to inform you that all the COVID tests from residents and staff have returned negative results. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to lift the snap lockdown and welcome visitors back into the home and residents to resume their normal routines.

As we mentioned last week, the new visitation restrictions allow up to five visitors a day per resident. We will continue the usual screening process, which includes the screening questions, temperature checks, vaccination status and now a rapid antigen test.

All visitors are asked to complete the rapid antigen test and return a negative result before you will be permitted access to the home. The test requires a nasal swab to be taken and then is processed onsite. We will have staff to assist you to complete the test which will take approximately 10-15 mins to process. Please allow an extra 15 minutes when you come to the home so you can complete the test prior to your visit. This is an additional screening tool intended to reduce the risk of transmission. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration.

Kind regards
