Embracia on the Avenue Home is part of an all-new, state-of-the-art retirement community, designed to offer the ultimate in integrated retirement and aged care living.

Within the Home, there are a number of separate ‘communities’ each with their own permanent staff, their own sense of belonging and ’family’ – even their own art themes (from cute fauna to all-time movie greats).

Each community has its own dedicated living areas, including lounge, dining room and cosy sitting rooms where you can enjoy all the social advantages of group living.

Our latest design also delivers you the ultimate in convenience, with an enclosed ‘streetscape’ consisting of a digital theatre/multi-purpose room, indoor/alfresco café, hairdressing salon, private dining room, chapel, library with internet, gym and more. Freshly opened in June 2009, Embracia on the Avenue also features tunning prints, décor and other standout details to make you feel comfy and at home.

Then, when it’s time to relax, retreat to the haven of your own room, enjoying the comfort of private ensuite, built in wardrobes, thermostatically controlled heating, ceiling fan and phone point, as well as a nurse call system.

All of the members of our Eden on the Avenue community benefit from the rich, lifestyle opportunities of the idyllic surrounds of Deception Bay.

It’s up to you, you can:

• Make your own fun.
  It’s your life, and it’s up to you how you live it – but if you need any help, you couldn’t find a more dedicated crew to help make it happen than our friendly staff.
• Take advantage of our lifestyle programs and amenities.
  If you need a little assistance to enjoy life to the fullest, take advantage of our programs or just relax. The choice is yours.
• Be active in your community.
  Together with pillars of the local community such as the Rotary Club and local churches, our residents play an integral role. There are so many opportunities to do much more than just pass the time in Deception Bay – and be fulfilled in your pursuits.
• Or soak up the area’s many other attractions.
  A group of dedicated volunteers are regularly there to take you out to enjoy shopping, playing pool, cooking, games, fishing, extra bowls tutoring, craft, computer classes and other attractions in the neighbourhood.

Care

At Embracia on the Avenue, we do not have separate high and low care communities, which means you can remain in your community as your needs change over time. We’ll take great care of you with:

• 24-hour Registered Nursing coverage.
  This is supported by Personal Carers and a dedicated lifestyle team complemented by visiting specialists such as therapists and allied health professionals.
• The right level of specialist care for you – we’re fully accredited to provide top quality memory support, respite care, high care and low care, in accordance with your needs.
• Extras for your comfort.
  We also provide a limited number of Extra Service high care places for those who are used to, and can afford, those extra luxuries of hotel-style living such as wine with meals, wider choice of menu, and other of life’s little luxuries.
