Design

Within Embracia on Bribie, there are a number of separate ‘communities’ each with their own permanent staff, and their own sense of belonging and ‘family’.

Each community has its own dedicated living areas, including lounge, dining room and cosy sitting rooms where you can enjoy all the social advantages of group living.

On-site for your convenience you’ll find a hairdressing salon, theatre, gym, library with internet computer and postal facilities. Or keep yourself fit (and competitive!) at your own full-length bowls green and heated outdoor swimming pool.

Then, when it’s time to relax, retreat to the haven of your own room, enjoying the comfort of private ensuite, built in wardrobes, thermostatically controlled heating, ceiling fan and phone point, as well as a nurse call system.

Lifestyle

All of the members of our Embracia on Bribie community benefit from the rich, lifestyle opportunities of the idyllic surrounds of Bribie Island – and the special resources and activities we have available at the Home and adjoining village. It’s up to you, you can:

• Make your own fun.
  It’s your life, and it’s up to you how you live it – but if you need any help, you couldn’t find a more dedicated crew to help make it happen than our friendly staff.
• Take advantage of our structured programs and facilities.
  If you need a little assistance to enjoy life to the fullest, take advantage of our structured morning programs. Or keep yourself fit (and competitive!) at your own full-length bowls green and heated outdoor swimming pool.
• Or soak up the area’s many other attractions.
  A group of dedicated volunteers visit regularly to escort you for shopping, playing pool, cooking, games, fishing, extra bowls tutoring, craft, computer classes and other attractions in the neighbourhood.

Care

At Embracia on Bribie we do not have separate high and low care communities, which means you can remain in your community as your needs change over time. 

We’ll provide the care you need with:

• 24-hour Registered Nursing coverage.
  This is supported by Personal Carers and a dedicated lifestyle team, complemented by visiting specialists such as therapists and allied health professionals.
• Extra security if you need it in our Kingfisher community.
  If you need a little more security and memory support services, our Kingfisher community might be just the answer where you can join a friendly, warm group of residents supported by staff with specialised dementia training.
• Optional extras for your comfort.
  We also provide a limited number of Extra Service high care places for those who are used to, and can afford, those extra luxuries of hotel-style living such as FOXTEL in all rooms, wine with meals, wider choice of menu, and other of life’s little luxuries.
